Celebrating a Decade of Music and Community

Over the past decade, Agri’s Got Talent has grown into the most exciting project in agriculture, showcasing the extraordinary talents of agricultural workers. We celebrated this milestone with a reunion show, live album, and reunion tour.

We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every facility that welcomed us and to each person who danced and sang along with us! These photos capture the spirit of our journey and the beauty of South Africa’s farming communities.

THE REUNION SHOW

On a Saturday night, 18 November 2023, AGT celebrated a milestone at the Language Monument amphitheater in Paarl. Past top-10 contestants and winners gathered for a unique agricultural music festival, a spectacle attended by nearly 1,000 people. The event showcased the immense talent within the agricultural community.

The Reunion tour

As part of our 10 year anniversary celebrations we decided to take some of our alumni on the road and promote Agri’s Got Talent on various farms, packhouses, cellars and nurseries. Our main mission was to celebrate the talent within our national agricultural community. What happened was so much more – the roadshow was a captivating adventure brimming with first-time experiences, breathtaking landscapes, and unforgettable moments.

One thing became crystal clear during our roadshow – music is a universal language. Wherever we went, we forged beautiful connections through the power of music. At every stop, we had the incredible pleasure of welcoming audience members to the stage, sharing their wonderful talents with us.

These photos are a testament to the spirit of our Agri’s Got Talent Roadshow and the profound beauty of South Africa’s farming communities. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to every facility that welcomed us and to each person who danced and sang along with us!

BEYOND THe competition

AGT is more than a singing competition—it’s a platform for personal development. Over the years, contestants have achieved remarkable milestones.

AGT’s impact goes beyond the individual contestants. The newfound confidence, skills, and knowledge are shared within families, workplaces, and communities. Participants become ambassadors for agriculture, contributing to the stability of rural areas and fostering pride in the agricultural industry.
